The power finer is a highly efficient deflaker with
excellent throughput capacity of barely pre-treated recycled paper, broke, and even pulp.
Stock is fed into the finer.
It then passes through disk-shaped deflaker blades and conical-shaped deflaker blades by centrifugal force high-speed rotation.
During this passage, the stock collides with the
deflaking blades, upon which the hydro-dynamic
pressure waves or high frequency shockwaves that occur within the blade gap chamber finely deflake the stock.
